I hope to spend Valentine’s Day evening with my wonderful Husband watching “What Dreams May Come” and eating hot dogs with coleslaw.

Every Valentine’s Day my husband and I go to our favorite local sushi place for a quiet dinner, a little wine, and then come home and usually snuggle on the couch watching movies or TV. Not terribly glamorous, but I couldn’t think of anything else I would rather do!

First, these bracelets are gorgeous!
Second, I’m hoping for a Valentine’s Day that makes me feel “special” - perhaps flowers delivered to the office and then a great surprise dinner, no gift required!

My boyfriend and I live in a VERY small town, so we will likely go “into Town”. We’ll spend the night in a hotel and go out for a nice dinner. I cannot be more perfect.

Valentines day, for me, will probably be spent with my best friend and flat mate. We will settle ourselves down in the archeology building in the university and flutter our eyelashes at unsuspecting archeology geeks as they walk past. The best part is the bashful smiles they give in return while inside they are pleasantly surprised by the small boost to their confidence.

Just like the bracelet says- ” I choose freedom”
I have no love interest currently so I will be spending Valentine’s day with my dogs. Since I won’t have anyone to “gift” me I think I may buy myself a nice box of candy and a bottle of winw and toast my freedom!

Last year I left my husband of 7 years. I bought my own place and was devistated to leave, but knew I had to. 6 months later, my husband said he wanted me back. I was so hesitant, but decided to give it another try. The divorce was not final yet. We have been together ever since and things are BETTER THAN EVER. This Valentine’s Day will be true celebration. We did not realize what we had until it was almost gone. The lesson is to NEVER GIVE UP!

I don’t believe in Valentine’s Day… it’s simply commercial, which I refuse to support. Also, if you really truly love somebody, then you should celebrate every day as if it were a special day, and cherish every moment you have with that person. I know that’s what I do. So even if I don’t celebrate the actual February 14th, I celebrate Valentine’s Day every day, with love.

I’m in med school, and we have a test on February 15th (great Valentine’s day treat, don’t ya think!). So, I’ll be spending Valentine’s day studying in my pajamas all day! My fiance, who lives 10 hours away, will be flying in on the 15th for a week, so we’ll celebrate Valentine’s day a couple days late :) YAY!

I’m a prisoner of my love; unfortunately he lives 700 miles away so I don’t get to spend as much time with him as I’d like. We’ll be apart this Valentine’s Day so I’ll spend the evening talking to him on the phone and then sitting alone feeling sorry for myself. He always sends me something fun for holidays we’re apart but its still a little bit sad. Alas, a box of chocolates will have to comfort me this year.

I will be trying to not put any expectations on a holiday that shouldn’t have so much power over me. Instead, I’m starting a new job on Feb. 13, so I’m going to be focusing on that.

On actual valentine’s day, we won’t be doing much more than working since my husband works early and goes to bed around 6 pm. But we have tickets to the symphony on Saturday and then we’ll be eating out afterwards. The day we got married (slightly after Valentine’s day), we went to see a play so it’s a tradition now to go see something at the same theater.

I wish I could say I was spending my Valentine’s day with my lovely and handsome fiance…unfortunately, I will be spending the entire day locked up in college classrooms listening to professors drone on about literature. Lucky for me, literature is only the SECOND love of my life - the first love of my life will probably be at home watching Superbowl highlights with his buddies. Such a fitting Valentine’s Day. :)

I’ll probably spend my Valentine’s Day actually telling the man I love that I love him. It’ll be the first time either of us have said it, even though we’ve been together since last May. I’m planning a very romantic time, and am excited about what may happen. I know it seems like it’s the guy’s job to do all this and plan these things, but I don’t think it matters. =)

I will spend my Valentine’s day celebrating my love. He is my first boyfriend, I’ve been with him for over a year now and he always can make me so happy, and I’m sure this day will be no different.
The truth is, he’s my valentine everyday.
I don’t need a fancy dinner, flowers, or pebbles thrown at my window in the middle of the night… I just would love to spend the day with him walking through the streets, laying around, anything.
I love you. :)

nothing fancy. I am just planning a day put with my 5-year-old son. no husband, no boyfriend. but guess what?! spending valentine’s with a child is far more fun and cool. i wouldn’t trade that for un-romantic boyfriends, much less grumpier husbands. LOL!

We are not doing anythhing on Valentines because my fiance has to work and my class ends late. But we are going to Lawrys for some yummy prime rib friday. It is probably better that way because we beat the crowd and the food is always slower on those special holidays.

valentine’s day is all about love and thanks. my idea on how to spend heart’s day is by writing love notes to show my appreciation for my friend family or co worker who has really been there for me. my love notes is in a form of actual hand made greeting card, with lots of cut-off red hearts to feel the spirit of valentine’s day c”)

My boyfriend now works like 100 hours a week, 7 days a week, so I’m hoping he doesn’t have to work on Valentine’s night! I’m afraid to ask! I just hope he can get out of work early, so that we can actually spend the day/night together.

I will be spending my Valentines day with my very perfect boyfriend. He will cook me dinner and then we will exchange our gifts. Sadly I can’t keep my fat mouth shut so he already knows what he is getting. I, on the other hand, don’t know what I am receiving. My perfect gift is a cute outfit from my all time favorite store Bebe . But regardless of what I receive we will definitely enjoy our night together because we are both going to be back home in California. :)

What will i be doing Valentines day??? Wishing i was with my hubby! see the bractlet means excatly what it is. See i am a actual prisoner of love, my husband is serving 30 years in prison. He has been in 8 years now. So i will hopefully be reading our valentine letters to each other at the same time…me at home in my room and him in his cell. Hope everyone has a meaningful and wonderful valentines day!

More than likely, I will be spending Valentine’s Day at work in the Emergency Dept. in Brooklyn. See, I’m a doctor and I do 12 hour shifts in the ER… I’ll probably see a few patients with broken hearts on V-day… and hoping for my own freedom from the ER so I can spend the rest of the night with my sweethert. :)

This Valentine’s Day my boyfriend and I are going to a fabulous dinner at Ruth’s Chris Steak House - our favorite place to celebrate special occasions! After we’re going to go home and cuddle up on the couch with a bottle of wine and call it a night! ;) I couldn’t think of a better way to spend the evening.

A prisoner of love?!
Oh, Heaven above…
I’ll tell Nomination
Of the sweet domination:
My heart still thumps when he walks in the door,
Each day goes by and I love him more.
We’ve said ‘forever’, we’ve said ‘I do’
But being together is always new.
This Valentines Day together,
Is our tenth celebration in sub-zero weather,
I guess it will be just another day.
Which I suppose isn’t much to say.
But there’s more than meets the eye…
And if you’re in love, you know why.
It’s another day of knowing he’ll be mine -
From that day on until the end of time.
So hold the champange hold the sweets,
Hold the bubble baths, flowers and treats.
Give me my husband and the vow that lasts -
We’re bound forever…now, future and past.
This steel bracelet, delicate and bold
Will remind us both of who’s hand we hold.
A little diamond, a little charm - it’s all I need.
(And him on my arm.)

I’ll be having a quite Valentine’s Day with my husband and I’ll be very sneaky by slipping in a chick flick that evening. He’s pretty good about watching them but lately he’ll suggest I watch it with my daughter “oh I’ll bet Sabrina would like to see that with you when you two do one of your girl”s nights” so after a nice dinner we’ll snuggly with our two dogs and two kitty cats and settle down for an evening of movie rentlas that I stopped to pick up and we’ll start with a romantic comedy that way I’ll fall asleep during one of the action flicks later. It sounds boring but it’s really sweet and nice.

I have no idea how I will spend V-day! I guess thats up to my boyfriend lol. I think both of us have night classes on that day so we might not do anything until the weekend! We will probably do the usual, dinner and a movie… which will probably be RAMBO lol! I know - so romantic right? :)

Like every other valentine’s day, I would probally spend it by myself because I’m still single right now. And over the years, almost all my closed friends have gotten either a gf or bf…so I’m the only one left =(. But once a while, someone would confess their love for me on V-day lol. So I always get nervious on that day lol. However, I DOOOOOOOOO still love V-day cuz I think its soo sweet and romantic!! =] So I don’t think V-day is only for couples, but for those who are singles and might become taken the next day! ;)
