Vintage is Hot
Gotta have this book. Not sure where I’m going to put it. As it is, I still haven’t had shelves built for all the books that I already have. Somebody tell me why a house comes with a library but no book shelves? Guess it was enough just to be given a room. Oh well, guess it goes on my wish list with all of the other things I want.
Anyway, I was checking out what The Fashionable Kiffen has to say and today she is highlighting this particular item. “This book emphasizes that vintage clothing is not just “old clothes”, but interesting items that all have a story behind them, whether it’s your grandmother’s alligator purse or a mink stole you picked up at a consignment shop.”
And how delicious would it be to find an old purse or stole that once belonged to someone else. If only they could tell us stories of where they had been and what they had seen!
