celebrating with all things horsey

I’m absolutely tickled pink that one of my fellow Canadians brought home a gold medal in show jumping from the Olympics that I’m having an equestrian-themed day on Her Accessories!
There’s the classic Gucci horsebit sunglasses:

“Signature” grey horsebit aviator sunglasses
I wouldn’t recommend these grey satin “Hollywood” horsebit peep-toe pumps for the barn (also by Gucci), but […]

butterflies from Tiffany & Co?

New butterfly pendants from Tiffany & Co in platinum and diamonds - oh, yes please!

Okay, so I’ll need to max out my credit cards to buy it, but I’m sure I can eat ramen noodles for the next… year?   Three years?  Some things are so pretty that they’re worth it :-)

Gold clouds and moonstones for the modern princess

guest post from Mirona of Gorgeoux.com
I’ve fallen in love with Karakola jewellery in January this year and my only complaint ever since has been that I cannot yet afford it. I came across her Garland necklace by chance and instantly desired it; I can’t remember the last time I laid eyes on a piece of […]

He/She puzzle necklace from Nomination

I’m not sure if I could convince my husband to wear the “He” side of this set of “He/She” puzzle pendants from Nomination Italy…

But the set is so cool that I’d wear both of the stainless steel pendants myself :-)

summer whites

Do you need a break from the intense colors of summer?  Too much bold yellow and bright turquoise?  How about trying some summer whites?  Soft, elegant and very wearable when the mercury starts to climb…

resin pendants

I’m lusting after this resin & Zebrawood pendant from Garnish Home:

It’s made from recycled Zebrawood, that would normally just be thrown away by the furniture manufacturers.  Earth-friendly and cool - what a great combination!

creating my own bird jewelry

I shared some of my favorite picks with you all when I was trying to track down a particular bird necklace.  I still haven’t found the perfect one, but I did find a charm with two birds sitting on a branch on it.  It’s got a little empty nest between them - they look forlorn […]

coffee bean jewelry

Most people who know me well, know that I don’t function particularly well without a cup of coffee in the morning.  I tend to haul myself, reluctantly, out of bed and stumble around with my eyes half-shut until I’ve had my cuppa…
I wonder if wearing this charming cast sterling silver jewelry by Amy Pfaffman would […]

watches as necklaces

I’m one of those unlucky people who destroy watch batteries.  I can wear a perfectly good watch, that’s guaranteed to last for five years… and end up with a dead battery in one week!
Frustrating, to say the least!
Luckily, pendant watches seem to fare better and there are some lovely ones out on the market, like […]
