fresh water pearls wedding necklace
I’ve been a little nervous about starting my wedding necklace, even though the matching earrings worked great :-)
I knew what I wanted to do - several strands of free-floating pearls, in different sizes. I was just nervous about screwing it up! I finally bucked up the courage last night and made the necklace:
I used flexible sterling silver beading wire, along with coin & oval fresh water pearls. I also used two sterling silver butterflies from Thailand (known as Thai Hill Silver) that can slide between the pearls.
I’m tickled pink with the way it turned out… and it feels fabulous to wear it!

What a great idea, this would look lovely with a strapless dress as it would draw the eye to the neck… or clevage!
