cheerful accessories

I’ve had a challenging month… my grandmother passed away, and yesterday, I had to put my elderly, but much beloved mare to sleep.

I definitely need something to cheer me up! I thought I’d concentrate on “happy accessories” today.

To start things off, here’s a purse that even has happy in it’s name!

This is the “Happy Polka Dot Bag” from Rimistyle.

I’ve had a soft spot for the Diorette collection since it was released - this ring includes yellow gold, diamonds & amethysts.

This last one is strictly for the cheer-up factor…

My condolences on your losses. Unfortunately, I know too well what it is like to loose loved ones - and that includes two horses that were very much part of my family for many years. It is good to find ways to keep up your spirits, and especially to keep a good sense of humor (the last part of course being in reference to the chicken necklace). After the sudden passing of my roommate this past March, I found myself craving color in my wardrobe. I know some people don’t understand, but I see it as a way of surrounding myself with the good things that life offers. Of course, I’m also very appreciative of the family and friends I have, but it’s nice to have it both ways when I can.

Oh, and I love that purse. It reminds me a bit of a lady bug - and those definitely make me happy.
