Pucci shawls to scare off the chills

Shawls, wraps and stoles are a great way to go from warm summery-feeling days to crisper, autumn nights.
You can wrap them around your shoulders, knot them around your neck or drape it across your arm if you’re a little too toasty.
My pick for a lovely shawl that will see you through the late summer all […]

one of a kind accessories from Hoakan/Helga

I was just recently introduced to the design company of Hoakan/Helga and their unique collection of jewelry, bags & scarves.
They specialize in one-of-a kind designs, with vintage, re-purposed and hand-dyed accessories, like this “Long Scarf“:

It’s 100% silk, dyed with natural dyes and then rusted - too cool!
The “Eva” bag is made from vintage leather, hand-printed […]

Wear your love of letters on your… neck?

I think the laser-cut microsuede scarf from Little Factory is just too cool!

It’s made entirely of letters - they also make a “numbers” version, or if you want to be really emphatic - all upper-case letters :-)

summer whites

Do you need a break from the intense colors of summer?  Too much bold yellow and bright turquoise?  How about trying some summer whites?  Soft, elegant and very wearable when the mercury starts to climb…

Soft, comfortable and luxurious - I think it would be a great gift to get on Mother’s Day!
Think a cashmere shawl is a little too heavy for spring time?  How about this lovely linen gauze shawl from Mario […]

how to wear mustard yellow

Mustard yellow is one of the hot colors right now, but it’s a tricky one to wear! It’s not flattering on everyone’s complexions and frankly, can be overwhelming!
But there is an art to wearing it and these accessories would be the perfect way… just not all at once please :-)

butterfly scarf from Anthropologie

I’ve got a thing for butterflies :-)  I’ve got butterfly coffee mugs, butterfly jewelery & even wore a butterfly shawl when I got married.
Want to see what I’m currently drooling over?

Butterflies!  Lots & lots of butterflies… okay, I’ll calm down - it’s just a scarf after all :-)   A really pretty, feminine scarf…

new scarves from Anthropologie

I’m loving this new crocheted scarf from Anthropologie!

The name however…
“The Brown Blossom Scarf“.
Seems slightly unfortunate.
Brown blossom just sounds too much like a euphemism for things that aren’t appropriate for a fashion blog :-)

Begg shawls

I’m in the mood to wrap a comfy, warm shawl around my shoulders today (it’s snowing just a few miles away!) and thought it would be fun to take a look at these lovely cashmere shawls & stoles from Begg Scotland.

A lot of designers are using shawls & stoles in their collections - check […]

cute cover-ups for spring evenings

Okay, so it’s technically almost summer (and feels like summer for lots of us :-) but evenings can still be a little cool sometimes. I don’t always want to wear a jacket - so what’s a girl to do to keep her shoulders from getting chilly?

How about a silk stole from Banjaras?

Or this lovely […]
