But where do I start?
Lets say that you are a complete novice when it comes to accessories. Just where do you start? When you look at all the possibilities, I can see how this could become confusing. So, for today, let’s go back to the basics. Here’s my thoughts on what you need and then we can build on it later.
1. One nice handbag (okay I like lots of them, but I’m going to say just one for now.) And did you notice that I found one that comes with goodies.
2. A nice pair of sunglasses. I found that the easiest route to go is simply to choose Transition lenses for you regular glasses. They are always with me, and if you can only have one pair… this works!
3. A nice watch. Can’t go wrong with that. But I also have a throwaway watch that I keep in my purse. If I lose it, it’s not a big deal. (Remember we are starting right at the beginning with the idea that you don’t have a zillion watches in your jewelry box to choose from.)
4. A pair of shoes that will get you through that particular season.
I just re-read my entry and you can see how difficult this was for me. I can’t imagine having just one of everything, but I have to admit, it’s a good place to start.
